Yes, I’m single and very happy.
2) Hmm.. Interesting. Just out of curiosity, what traits do you look for in a man?
Compassion would be a great characteristic to see in a man. Someone who’d go out of his way to help someone less fortunate, like the homeless or orphans, would definitely have my attention. But at the end of the day, an honest heart is what makes the difference.
3) What turns you on?
Good food
4) And your turnoffs?
Bad breath.
5) What would you say are your strongest and weakest traits?
Confidence would be my strong suit and my inability to handle rejection would be my Achilles’ heel.
6) What would a guy have to do to impress you?
There isn’t much a guy can do because impressing me depends on the mood I’m in. But dark chocolates and flowers could be a good start.
7) If you were given a chance, which part of the world would you go to?
I’d love to go to Greece.
8) Is there something you wish you were better at?
I’d love to better hone my cooking skills.
9) Tell us one thing people don’t know about you.
I guess a lot of people have no idea I used to work for street children via Nepal Mother Foundation. I’m also currently working as a social activist and looking forward to Mission Jajorkot and the campaign of “Safe water Save life’’ with BEING HOMO SAPIENS charity.

SHORTCUT TO A MAN’S HEART WITH KRISHA SHAHI
Krisha Shahi is one of the youngest faces in the fast growing modeling scene and has a fun, lively personality to go with it. She has a smile that brightens a room and curves that could instantly render any man smitten. Her journey started as first runner up in Little Miss Nepal 2010 which paved ways for her to become one of the most promising young models in the country right now. And she is a bundle of talent as well. While some girls have a hobby of shopping, Krisha likes to WWWbang on the drums and tabla. We love a girl with unorthodox talents, don’t you?
However, they say a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and we wanted to know if she was up for the challenge. We’re suckers when it comes to hot girls with pretty smiles, and we ended up asking Krisha random questions. Turns out that was more fun than cooking, so we ordered some pizza, bought some icecream instead.
Now we’re not sure Krisha knows how to cook but she sure knows how to make a mess, and we aren’t complaining. Also, she proved that a man’s stomach isn’t the only way to our hearts. Pretend to read the answers while you look through the photographs.
SO YOU PLAY THE DRUMS AND TABLE?
I was fond of playing the drums since I was small. I grew up watching my dad play which really helped me get into it. I joined the Nepal Music Center where I also learned how to play the tabla.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU HAVE TRIED, BUT WILL NEVER DO AGAIN?
Pork and beef. Never again.
WHAT QUIRKY HABIT DO YOU HAVE?
I make jokes and try to be funny, call it quirky if you want. People can like me for my sense of humor if not anything else. Some of the jokes I tell are funny and I get a reaction, others are not. But I understand that I don’t really have to try so hard. God loves me and I can just be myself too.
WOULD YOU RATHER READ A BOOK OR WATCH A MOVIE?

WHAT IS ONE PLACE IN THE WORLD YOU WISH YOU LIVED?

Love is at times even harder to achieve, but because of my experiences I would enjoy having the means to make myself happy. If you don’t have love, there is nothing money can buy that will bring you happiness, however, a little bit of money can ease stress and allows you to help your love ones.
WHO HAS INFLUENCED YOU MOST IN YOUR LIFE?
My family.
WHAT IS ONE CAREER YOU WOULD LOVE TO ENTER?
At one point in my life, I wanted to be a doctor. I’d still love to be a nephrologist – a doctor who specializes in kidney care treating diseases related to the kidney.
WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE BEFORE YOU DIE?
I want to go snorkeling and deep sea diving to experience marine life up close.
ARE YOU A TROUBLE MAKER?
I wouldn’t say I’m the devil, but I’m no goody two shoes either.
LOVE IS AT TIMES EVEN HARDER TO ACHIEVE, BUT BECAUSE OF MY EXPERIENCES I WOULD ENJOY HAVING THE MEANS TO MAKE MYSELF HAPPY.
WHAT DO YOU REALLY LOOK FOR IN A MAN?
Trust, confidence, a good sense of humor and good chemistry with me. Looks are not as important, but they do matter too. And I tend to fall for tall guys with a nice voice.

Laxmi Lawati Subba, beauty queen with multiple titles
A young, beautiful, confident and generous spirit, Laxmi Lawati Subba is the glamorous new face in Nepal who holds five titles,Miss Fresher at Eureka 2008, Miss Teejtaj of Dharan Fashaion Show in 2010, Miss Purwanchal 2011 with Miss Best Personality
and Miss Fusion. She had also run for Miss Nepal 2012. Also having worked as a choreographer at Vijaypur Higher Secondary School and Jaycess, she loves to keep her busy working and living life happily.
She had been working hard to fulfill her dream that she had as a child, the dream of becoming Miss World one day and with her hard work and success in the pageants she had participated on, she might as well make it big. The television programs that she used to watch as a child had inspired her to take up this field. However, she would credit her cousin Romi and her entire family and friends who had supported her throughout all the titles bids. Winning the five titles has made her more dedicated, humble and hopeful. And now, hard work has become an integral part of her life. To win a beauty contest or to even run on one, one needs to prepare dedicatedly and should be focused. They should be able to portray their honesty and character so that their whole image has a positive vibe and the most important thing is to have confidence that you could do it on your own.
Along with time, she believes that the parents in the Nepali society, too, have started acknowledging the beauty pageants and have started supporting their children more than they did before. And, talking about her own family, they could not have been any more supportive as they have always stayed behind encouraging her and inspiring her. She plans to take one contest at a time, however, isn’t sure how long it would last.
It had been Laxmi Lawati Subba’s dedication and determination that made her overcome the obstacles in her life and win the multiple titles. One who believes hard work, dedication and confidence in yourself are keys to become successful in life would love to fall in love before she marries the guy although she is open to both the options of love or arrange marriage.
