Rishma Gurung is a Nepali Actress who debut as actor with the film “Kabaddi “in 2014.
Early Life And Education:
Born as Rishma Gurung to Father Kumar Gurung and mother shanti gurung in Syangja. Her hometown is Pokhara.
Rishma has completed her bachelor’s in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University.She is the first female to graduate in her family.Currently ,she is in first year of MBA .
Career:
Gurung started her career with Gurung Language film’s ,and made her debut in Nepali Film with ‘Kabaddi’. At first , she got offered in “Kabaddi” in 2012 and she rejected it. She played a role of Maiya in “Kabaddi “which was highly appreciated and made her most seek actress in Nepali cinema.
Before appearing in Nepali film , she did 3 gurung movies already.
After Kabaddi she worked in sequel of it ” Kabaddi Kabaddi’ in 2016 ,which was a biggest hit Nepali film . Her new film “Jhumkee” is centered on kamalari tradition prevailing in Tharu community.
